CohnReznick

CohnReznick provides Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Services for the Restore Louisiana (Restore) Homeowner Assistance Program for the Office of Community Development, Disaster Recovery Unit.  The Restore program is funded by allocations from the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery Program (CDBG-DR) to assist the state in its long-term recovery efforts.

CohnReznick serves as the contractor to the Cancer Prevention Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Compliance Monitoring Program providing compliance monitoring, risk assessment, and technical support to grantees receiving state funding for over 600 active Cancer Research and Prevention Grants. Our responsibilities on the engagement include peer reviews, billing and reimbursement verification, compliance, and closeout reviews, as well as the formulation of corrective action plans (CAPs) for deficiencies identified through compliance reviews or A-133 audits.

In 2015, CPRIT contracted with CohnReznick to perform grant compliance monitoring services. CohnReznick teams with CPRIT compliance personnel to perform monitoring of all state-awarded grant funding for cancer research, and product development and prevention programs for which CPRIT is responsible. Since we adopt our client’s missions as our own, our goal is to provide oversight and monitoring of grants to ensure appropriate performance throughout the lifecycle of each grant.
