María Alfaro is a Bilingual Financial Management Consultant, bringing more than 14 years of experience in full-cycle accounting and financial recordkeeping. Fluent in both English and Spanish, María supports clients with day-to-day bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance—helping organizations maintain accurate records and strong internal controls.

María is known for her high integrity, attention to detail, and ability to manage accounting processes in fast-paced environments.

María’s work focuses on:

• Managing full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Supporting clients using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online

• Preparing financial statements and reports in both English and Spanish

• Assisting with budgeting, expense analysis, and financial forecasting

• Supporting internal controls and conducting routine financial reviews

• Mentoring junior staff and supporting continuous process improvement

• Assisting with tax preparation and compliance activities

Prior to joining C-FACTS, María worked as an Account Executive with Garcia & Asociados CPA S.A., where she managed accounting operations, prepared financial reports, supported audits, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.

María holds a degree in Business Administration from ISESA Universidad de San José and brings a strong commitment to supporting mission-driven organizations through reliable financial practices.
